Writer’s Journey - From Overthinking to Expression

Eisha A Chopra is an actor, writer, and spoken word artist with a career in film and media spans over a decade. Her journey as a professional screenwriter began as an actor, where she found her own narrative brain piqued, while waiting for shots on set.

Today, she has been part of many prestigious writing rooms and has written for the likes of Anurag Kashyap, Ektaa Kapoor, Nikkhil Advani and Zoya Akhtar exploring story development, screenwriting and dialogue. Her first feature film as a cowriter, Do Aur Do Pyaar released in Cinemas and Disney HotStar this year.

Eisha took to journalling during the pandemic when her own overthinking was its highest, and found much release and healing in the craft of writing. She brings a rare mix of authentic expression, perfect prose and grammar and a unique brand of humor to the process.
